An Indian agate usually has mixed hues (green, beige, blue, gray, with subtle shades of red or pink). Some stones can also have a milky, black or yellow and brown appearance. Thanks to this patchwork of very diverse hues, each Indian agate is a unique stone.

There are significant deposits of Indian agate in India, Uruguay, Brazil, Botswana, Madagascar, Quebec, and Sicily.
