Aquamarine - Tumbled Stone Bracelet

This stone takes its name from the Latin " aqua marina " which means "sea water". It is part of the beryl family. Its color ranges from colorless to light blue, through soft green, but the stones of an intense blue are the most sought after.

Aquamarine generally comes from Nigeria, Brazil, Pakistan or Madagascar.

Aquamarine brings easy speech and dissolves unspoken things by bringing them to the surface and giving the energy needed to pronounce them. Unfortunately, aquamarine is too often counterfeited! A heated aquamarine very easily turns blue. Yellow or colorless beryl becomes intense blue by irradiation, especially in Ukraine. Imitations can also be found in synthetic quartz or glass.
