Mookaite Jasper - Tumbled Stone Bracelet

Mookaite, often referred to as Mookaite Jasper, is a fascinating mineral of silicified porcellanite, sometimes even fossiliferous, with fossils inside. This unique mineral comes exclusively from a region called Windalia Radiolarite, located in Western Australia, which was formed during the Cretaceous period, between 145 and 66 million years ago. This area is rich in tiny nanoplankton fossils, such as Radiolaria and Foraminifera, which were essential to the genesis of Mookaite. The hues of this stone are strikingly beautiful, featuring bright yellows and reds, some of the most vivid found in the mineral world. In addition, rarer shades can be found in Mookaite samples, such as beige, brown, gray, and even purple!
